2019 Knights of Columbus Adult Backyard Olympics

The 2019 Knights of Columbus, Adult Backyard Olympics, will be held on Saturday June 15th, 2019. The location of this event is at the KoC of Wappinger Falls, 339 Route 82. Registration will be from 11:30am-12:30pm, followed by the festivities at 1pm.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for several local not-for-profit organizations, such as, Dutchess County 10-13 Foundation of the Hudson Valley, which was created in 2014 for purpose of assisting injured officers and their families suffering financial hardship due to injury or illness sustained in the line of duty or otherwise. Hudson Valley Guns & Hoses, which raise funds to benefit youth and children’s charities within our community as well as scholarships. 105th Airlift Wing Alumni Association, which flies our veterans from Stewart Airforce Base to Washington D.C. in a single day to visit our fallen armed forces and have lunch. The Global Wheelchair Mission, which helps supply wheelchairs to those in need.

This fundraiser will host a maximum of 60 teams of four competing in the following games, Horse Shoes, Ladder Ball, Corn Hole, Can Jam, Nerf Football, Ping Pong, Golf, Frisbee, Bocce, Bounce Ball, Lawn Jarts and Baseball Pitch. Registration forms can be obtained online at, www.dc1013foundation.org or Facebook. The cost per team team is $200, which includes an automatic entry for each player in the 50/50 raffle, BBQ style lunch and beverages.

If you would like to participate in this great cause, but are unable to attend you can choose one of the following sponsorships; Corporate Sponsor for $500, which includes your name on giveaways, signage and a team of four. The Wheelchair sponsor for $350, which gives you a sign and team of four or a Sign sponsor for $250.

This fundraiser will be held rain or shine and it is suggested that teams car pool, as parking is limited.
